Mango has a lot of energy and loves to play with people and other cats. She will run around for hours but once she gets tired she will come snuggle with you. She loves to eat but isnt the biggest fan of wet food. She is the sweetest and would be a great addition to any home. You may notice my eyes in my photo, heres what FWACC discovered about me! Upon initial veterinary evaluation at FWACC, Mango had scarring affecting her right eye, which caused adhesions to form between the 3rd eyelid and my regular eyelid. This resulted in permanent elevation of the 3rd eyelid. The ocular scarring/adhesions most likely developed secondary to viral infection by a feline-specific virus called feline herpesvirus-1, which is very common amongst cats and kittens. Fortunately, Mango is not displaying any signs of pain, inflammation, or infection in the R eye and she also does have some visual capacity in the R eye.
