Meet Lloyd! Lloyd is an 8-year-old Lionhead rabbit with a heart as soft as his fluffy coat. This sweet senior is looking for a loving retirement home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness and comfort. Lloyd is incredibly gentle and allows all handling, making him a wonderful companion. He’s also litter box trained, loves chasing toys, and is a very interactive little guy who enjoys being part of the action. Whether he’s playing or relaxing nearby, Lloyd has a charming personality that’s easy to fall in love with. Lloyd came from a heartbreaking neglect case. When he arrived in our care, he had severely overgrown nails and extensive matting due to a lack of grooming. Over the past two months, he’s made an incredible recovery and is now healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter of his life. Because Lloyd is a Lionhead and has difficulty grooming his back end, he requires weekly (or more frequent) brushing to prevent mats from forming. His adopter should be prepared to help him with this simple but important part of his care. He is presumed to be neutered. Lloyd has overcome so much and is simply looking for a safe place to call home. A family who will cherish him, keep up with his grooming needs, and give him the love he always deserved.
