She reached out to us and we agreed to take Coco into our program to find her the home she deserves. Coco is a very sweet girl. She is on the "fluffy" side and needs to lose about 5 lbs. We are working with her to achieve her ideal weight. Coco gets along with all other dogs, but we don’t know about cats or big dogs. What Coco really enjoys is being with her family. If you are willing to put in the time to help her to lose weight, then she’d be an excellent candidate for your family. Our must haves for sweet Coco are: Fenced in yard Someone that will be home more than not She can be an only dog or in a home with another adult small dog Someone that is going to walk her to help her take the weight off and keep it off No apartment, high rises, condos or duplex’s If you meet these requirements, don’t hesitate to get approved to adopt this sweet little girl. ============== Information for All Dogs/Adopters ============== AADR does not recommend dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime.
