Knox is a 10-year-old Shih Tzu with a heart as big as...well, the few extra pounds he's currently carrying. At about 18 pounds, this handsome gentleman could benefit from slimming down a bit, but that just means there's more of him to love while he starts his healthier journey. After spending what may have been his entire life with his best friend, Kenzie, Knox recently lost the only home he had ever known. Through all of life's changes, one thing has remained constant: you'll almost always find him snuggled up beside Kenzie. Whether they're sharing a cozy bed or quietly keeping each other company, these two find comfort in being together. Knox is ready to trade uncertainty for a loving family who will cherish both him and his tiny sidekick. Because of the close bond they've shared for so many years, we're looking for a home that will welcome Knox and Kenzie together. If your home could use twice the companionship, twice the cuddles, and two grateful little souls, Knox and Kenzie are ready to meet you. Their combined minimum adoption fee is $500, plus a $15 fee per dog for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
