Shilo (A142174) is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix who weighed just under 50 pounds on intake! 07/20/26 Shilo was returned to the shelter and is looking for her new home! Although it was originally noted that she does well with cats, Shilo was not a friend of the cat in the home. She was very rough and it was felt that Shilo would do best in a home without cats. It was also noted that she has a rough style of play with other dogs, which is not always appreciated. However, she was said to be friendly with other dogs (just plays rough). Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions to help set her up for success! Shilo had no experience with children in this home, but was stated to do well with strangers and adults! She was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog! She was said to be a high energy girl and is looking for a home that will be able to continue to provide her with outlets for her energy! Shilo was said to be housebroken and would stand by the door when she needed to go outside. She is a sweet girl, just looking for that right fit! She was said to do fantastically with everyone she meets, including babies and children! Shilo was also said to get along well with other animals including dogs, cats, and even livestock. It is important that appropriate introductions are being made to set her up for success. Shilo was noted to be kennel trained, housebroken, knows her basic commands and loves to go on car rides! Her surrendering owner stated she would make a great travel companion! Shilo would love to find her new family to love and go on adventures with!
