NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 7/15/2026: Frau Floofington - female - approx 6 years old - 39.10 emaciated pounds - Schnauzer/ Poodle mix Reason for intake: We were contacted by animal control to take a look at this girl when we go to take pictures of the shelter dogs every Wednesday. Ninna got through taking pictures and went to the kennel of this sweet girl. She spent some time with her. They took selfies... Frau Floofington gave kisses... Ninna gave return kisses and hugs... and well, eye contact was made... and Ninna called the rescue and Julie came and got her! What a hot mess. Ninna texted Wendy, our groomer, and Wendy got her in the next day. This poor girl was emaciated under all that mess. She had dreadlocks and masses that had been growing for years. She is free from all of that now! She's heading to our vet the week of 7/20/2026 for spaying and everything else she needs so stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.
