Saint is a 6-year-old sweetheart who is ready to find a fresh start with a family of his own. This handsome boy has a gentle nature, loves people, and gets along well with other dogs. He is both potty trained and crate trained, making him an easy companion to welcome into your home. Saint came to Dallas Pets Alive! through our Dogs Matter program, which helps people facing substance use recovery keep their beloved pets while they focus on healing. When Saint's owner realized they needed to devote their full attention to the next stage of their recovery journey, they made the incredibly brave and selfless decision to surrender him so he could find a stable, loving home. It was a decision made out of love, and we are committed to honoring that sacrifice by helping Saint find the family he deserves. Right now, Saint is participating in our Bark Dorm program, a unique partnership with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department. Through this program, select dogs live on-site with youth participants who provide daily care, training, enrichment, exercise, and socialization. The program gives dogs valuable one-on-one attention while helping participants build responsibility, confidence, and important life skills. It's truly a win-win, and Saint has been thriving with all the extra love and structure. Saint is the kind of dog who is happy to join you for a walk, relax by your side, or simply enjoy being part of the family. With his sweet personality, good manners, and easygoing nature, he's ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter. Could Saint be the missing piece of your family? The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise.
