Introducing the "B" litter ... 6 super cute Boykin mix puppies who will be available to meet on Saturday, July 25th, and will be 9 weeks old. These puppies' momma showed up pregnant at some nice folks home who, when they couldn't find her owner, took her in and gave her a safe place to have her puppies at which time they contacted a small local rescue about taking them in. A volunteer with that rescue then reached out to BCAA for help in finding everyone homes. The puppies are currently in a dog prison program known as "New Leash on Life" where they are getting a head start on potty and crate training, learning what a leash is about, and getting lots of socialization, all of which will need continued reinforcement for them to continue on their way to becoming great adult dogs. (Note: Momma Bindi is safe with us and will be available later after her milk has dried up and she can be spayed; she appears to be an ~4yo chocolate Boykin weighing around 27lbs; we have no idea who dad might be so we are unsure as to how big these pups might be full grown. We do know that at around 7weeks old they are pretty small, weigh between 3.25 to 4.50lbs, and expect them to stay on the small/medium size).
