NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 7/12/2026: Sven - male - approx 2 years old - 8.12 pounds - Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix Reason for intake: This little toot came to us as an owner surrender, technically. She found him in January in Shreveport and despite all efforts, could not find the owner. He wasn't chipped and wasn't collared. She did take him to her vet and he is heartworm positive. We will have him retested, neutered and do everything else he needs. Stay tuned. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.
