Lady Wobbles aka Wobs is a special needs girl, looking for a home that will help her thrive with her condition of cerebellar hypoplasia. Our doctor reccomends: Kitten will need an indoor only lifestyle and accomodations made for ease of litter box access and food/water bowl access due to her neurologic difficulties. Recommendations include: 1. No Stairs: Restrict access to stairs using pet gates to prevent severe falls. 2. Litter Box Adjustments: Provide a larger, low-sided litter box. Many CH cats like to lean against the high sides of a box for support while going to the bathroom. 3. Flooring: Provide plenty of traction like rugs or carpet, as slippery hardwood and tile floors can make wobbling worse. 4. Raised Dishes: Use wide, raised food and water bowls so they don't have to bend down and lose their balance. 5. Keep Claws Intact: Do not declaw CH cats. They rely heavily on their claws to grip surfaces and pull themselves up when they stumble.
