Meet Marcella 4yrs old currently 66lbs Marcella's story didn't begin the way any dog deserves. She was found abandoned on the side of the road alongside two other Rottweilers, scared, alone, and in desperate need of help. Shortly after arriving at the shelter, she required emergency surgery to save her life. Despite everything she has endured, Marcella has shown an incredible resilience that continues to inspire everyone who meets her.While her journey has taken time, Marcella is slowly learning that people can be kind. She has been thriving in a foster home where she has had the opportunity to decompress, build confidence, and simply learn how to be a dog again. Every day she becomes a little braver, a little more trusting, and a little more playful. Watching her personality blossom has been nothing short of amazing.Marcella is looking for a patient, compassionate family who understands that trust is earned, not rushed. Once she feels safe, she rewards you with quiet companionship, gentle affection, and a heart that is ready to love again. If you are interested in meeting Marcella, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–4 PM Thursday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–6:30 PM Saturday: 9 AM–1 PM If you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property. If you have another dog at home, please plan to bring them for a meet-and-greet before completing the adoption. Adoption fees: 6 months and younger: $250 7 months–5 years: $200 6–10 years: $150 11 years and older: $100 Watch for adoption specials!
