Playful! Sweet! Meet Moira! This sweet mama cat was found in a kind person's patio planter box with her three kittens just days after giving birth. Now that her boys are big enough to find homes, it's Moira's turn to find her perfect family! Moira may be a mama, but she also seems very young in the way she plays and her natural curiosity. This mama loves to play with toys and is frequently found showing her kittens how to chase a rope toy or "mouse on a stick." Moira also loves to be brushed - which is good because of all that luxurous fur! She is VERY food motivated and loves a good squeezy treat! With her babies still at her foster home with her, Moira has shown that she can be protective of them, which may be why she's not the biggest fan of the other adult cats in the home. We can't know if that's the only reason though, so we are hoping to find her a home either with one of her babies, or as an only cat to a doting family. ___________________________________________________________ If you'd like to meet any of our adoptable kitties, please submit an Adoption Application today. Cats Cradle Rescue holds adoption events at Petco in Camarillo on the first Saturday of each month (except holidays) and select weekends as listed on our event calendar. Cats Cradle Rescue animals are spayed or neutered and have received at least one vaccination before they are placed up for adoption. Each animal lives in a foster home as part of the family. Cats Cradle Rescue requires an adoption application and contract with each animal. Our adoption fee covers Feline Leukemia and Feline Immuno Virus testing, first year's shots, spay/neuter and microchip. We also send you home with a collar, CCR tag, cardboard carrier (if needed), and starter food.
