Meet Chicken! After raising her two adorable sons, Ham and Turkey, this wonderful mama is finally ready for a little something she's never really had before: a home that's all her own. She has been an incredibly patient, loving mother to her boys, and now that these two little goblins have found their forever home together, it's Chicken's turn to be spoiled. Chicken is about two years old and absolutely beautiful. She has striking green eyes, the cutest little orange-pink nose, and a soft tabby coat with subtle Bengal-like markings that shimmer in the sunlight. She also has the sweetest slightly wonky eyes that always seem to be looking in two different directions, somehow making her even more charming. Don't let them fool you though, she never misses a bird outside her favorite window. Chicken has one of the gentlest souls you'll ever meet. She loves quiet company, soft conversations, and cozy afternoons spent stretched out in a sunny window watching the birds. She has the cutest little chirping trill that somehow sounds like a tiny song, and she has a habit of chatting with her people throughout the day. If she falls asleep nearby, don't be surprised to catch her with her tiny little tongue poking out... she does this a lot and it is adorable. While she enjoys other cats and is perfectly happy around gentle dogs, Chicken doesn't need a busy household to be happy. She would thrive in a calm, relaxing home where she can soak up the sunshine, watch the birds from her favorite perch, and finally enjoy being someone's baby instead of raising everyone else's. Chicken has excellent litter box manners and loves people. Chicken was born on February 1, 2024, and is currently being fostered in Farmington. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV. All of our cats and kittens are cared for in loving foster homes. "Meet and Greets" can be arranged only after an application has been submitted and approved. Applications for adoption can be found at our website at www.fosterandforever.org. Our volunteers do their best to respond within 24-48 hours.
