This pup will be available to meet starting on 7/9. Gucci has officially retired from motherhood and is fully embracing the good life. This sweet, wiggly girl has settled beautifully into foster care and has proven to be an easy companion. She's fully potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night in her kennel without accidents, and greets her people each day with a happy tail and an enthusiastic leap into their lap. She absolutely loves plush toys and has even discovered the joy of playing fetch with them. Whether she's proudly carrying a toy around the house or curled up beside her favorite person, Gucci is happiest when she's part of the family. When she first arrived, Gucci was a little nervous if someone reached over her or towered above her, but after just a few days she gained confidence and those worries quickly faded. Now her sweet, snuggly personality shines through. Gucci has done well with the other dogs in her foster home. She can occasionally be a little possessive, but she responds well to corrections from both people and dogs and moves on without issue. Smart, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to live with, Gucci is more than ready for a forever family where she can finally be the one getting spoiled. They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
