Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meow meet Monroe! She is a tiny tabby with a big personality and absolutely no concept of walking when she can zoom instead. Life is simply too exciting to waste time moving at a normal speed. Monroe is a professional explorer, fearless adventurer, and a full time toy inspector. She believes every room deserves to be investigated, every crinkle ball deserves to be chased, and every lap should be available for kitten snuggles the moment she’s finished her latest expedition. Before Monroe became the happy little whirlwind she is today, her story started in an unexpected place. Her mama gave birth right after being trapped during a TNR effort at a community cat colony. Instead of having to grow up outdoors, Monroe, her mom, and her siblings were welcomed into a loving foster home until ready for adoption. If your home could use a little more laughter, a few joyful bursts of zoomies, and a tiny best friend who thinks you’re the greatest thing since feather wands, Monroe is ready to fill that role! She’ll make you laugh with her antics, warm your heart with her affection, and remind you every day that some of life’s greatest treasures come in small striped packages! Visit dozens of our adoptable cats and kittens at our Kitty Corner adoption center 39 Queen St in historic Gettysburg PA on any Saturday or Sunday from 11am-3pm. All of the cats listed are located in or near Gettysburg unless otherwise noted. Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet. Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives. No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
