Jordan is a 9 month male Shepherd mix with a gentle heart, a sweet soul, and so much love to give. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his friendly personality to shine through. A few kind words, a little patience, and Jordan is happily soaking up all the attention he can get. Jordan currently lives peacefully with his brother, Cyprus, and his sister, India. He especially loves playtime with Cyprus, the two of them happily chasing each other and sharing toys, while India often watches the fun with quiet interest. It's wonderful to see how well these siblings get along. Whether he is playing or spending time with his people, Jordan has a calm, contented nature that's easy to love. Jordan is already walking well on a leash and has proven himself to be a fast learner. He is eager to please and enjoys learning new things, making him a wonderful companion for someone who will continue helping him build confidence and discover all the exciting adventures life has to offer. All Jordan needs now is a loving family to help him continue blossoming into the incredible dog he is meant to be. Come meet this gentle sweetheart soon! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
