About

Luca is a very sweet and loyal boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being close to his people and enjoys playing as well as cuddling. Once Luca trusts you, he is incredibly affectionate and loves attention, pets, and giving kisses. One of Luca’s favorite activities is playing fetch. He has lots of energy and enjoys spending time outside exploring the yard. After he’s had a chance to play then he’s happy to relax and hang out with the family. He even enjoys watching TV and gets especially interested when animals appear on the screen! Luca knows several commands including sit, lay down, spin, out of the kitchen, kennel, and night night. He also knows what get in the car means and likes adventures. He does enjoy snuggles but he is kennel trained and often chooses to sleep in his kennel at night unless you give him permission to get on the bed. The kennel is his safe space and he will take naps in there with the door open. Luca can be cautious around new people at first and may bark when meeting strangers or when someone comes to the door. He wants to protect his family. He likes a little time to observe and get comfortable before he shows his affectionate side. Once he warms up, he is very loyal and loving. Since Luca can have more energy and can get very excited, he would do well in a home without babies or small children. $100 adoption fee All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.
