Meet Barney! Barney is a sweet ~8-year-old gentleman with a gentle soul and an even gentler purr. This darling boy absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up ear scratches and chin rubs whenever they're offered. His favorite place to be is curled up beside his favorite person, enjoying a cozy cuddle. Barney has presumptive inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which is currently well controlled with a special diet of HA (hydrolyzed) dry cat food and oral steroids that are easily given in his food. With this routine, he has been feeling comfortable and happy. Barney is also FIV positive, and like many FIV+ cats, he can live a long and fulfilling life with regular veterinary care and a loving indoor home. Barney is a truly affectionate companion who just wants a warm lap, a calm home, and someone to love.
