Online Adoption Application › Gaia is a stunning girl with the sweetest soul. She looks like a Husky/Pit mix, with a gorgeous brindle coat, one bright blue eye, and one warm brown eye. She is gentle, loving, playful, and incredibly sweet. Gaia is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs around 50 pounds. She is housebroken, crate trained, rides well in the car, and has done well on leash so far. She doesn't necessarily love the crate, but only because she's such a people dog and wants to be wherever her humans are. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would absolutely thrive with a canine sibling or two to play with. She's also cat friendly and enjoys greeting our resident cats with curiosity and kindness. She has shown zero resource guarding with food, toys, or treats and has been gentle with every person she's met. Gaia LOVES to run and play. Throw a ball, and she's ready! Because of that, a fenced yard where she can safely romp and zoom around would be ideal for her. Indoors, though, she's very much a "go with the flow" kind of girl. If the other dogs are playing, she'll happily join in, but when everyone settles down, she's content to relax right alongside them. Like many husky-type dogs, Gaia does have some prey drive and has tried to chase birds and mice outside. Gaia has not spent much time around children yet, but based on her gentle and affectionate personality, we think she would likely do very well with respectful kids. She is such a beautiful, gentle sweetheart, and we would love to see her find a home filled with love, playtime, and people who will cherish her forever.
