Meet Sable - a beautiful and unique lilac-colored kitty! His unusual coloring and light green eyes make him truly special. As he has grown, he has developed into a gorgeous, long, elegant young cat. But don't let his sophisticated looks fool you — Sable is a charming rogue! His "crimes" include stealing pens, walking across keyboards, batting at mouse cursors, "helping" with chores, and claiming your warm chair the moment you get up! The little rascal? Luckily for him, he is handsome and charming! In all seriousness, he’s a wonderful young cat. Like many young cats, he needs entertainment as he isn’t content to lay around all day – he certainly enjoys his naps too! He would greatly benefit from another playful cat or he needs playtime with his humans to channel his energy. He really has a wonderful balance of playful young-cat energy and a relaxed personality. He is the kind of cat who will keep life interesting! Sable is currently fostered with his buddy Obi, and they are a great pair. They enjoy each other's company and would be happy to find a home together, but Sable would also do well with another friendly cat. Sable would be a good fit for a family with older, respectful children (9+) or a dog with proper introduction. He is litterbox trained, neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives! $350 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $225 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes.
