About

This is Lane! He was named for where he was found, but it could just as well be because he's Insane in the Lane-Brain! He is possibly the most playful kitten on the planet! His hunting instincts are top-notch, to the point we're not convinced he's not just a very tiny panther. He will chase a feather toy until he collapses from exhaustion, and will still expect you to dangle it over him so he can attack it in comfort. Don't let him fool you though, he's not all bite. It's hard work being the only competent hunter in the house, so sometimes he requires a human servant to pick him up and hold him, preferably not sitting down. He'll very politely just look up at you with his big amber eyes and just expect you to know that's what he wants, because of course you should! Lane has a lot of energy to burn, and would very much like a home with someone willing to spend lots of time playing with him. He's still learning how to play, and sometimes forgets that hands are not toys. He doesn't mean any harm, he just needs to be reminded with some redirection to a kick toy that he can murder to his heart's content. He definitely needs a playmate. He would love to go with one of his foster siblings, but he is also the big brother, so he would also be very excited about a home with a cat sibling his size or bigger that would match or exceed his playful energy.
