Doug is a sweet, affectionate boy who loves his stuffies and can often be found carrying one around wherever he goes. It's one of his favorite things and part of what makes him so special. When he's not proudly showing off a stuffy, Doug loves playing ball, a game of tug-of-war, and romping around with his foster siblings. After playtime, he's more than happy to curl up on the couch for some cuddles. Doug quickly learned to appreciate the comforts of couch life and is always happy to snuggle up beside you. Doug loves being near his people and wants to be part of whatever you're doing. His gentle, loving personality makes him an easy companion and loyal best friend. He's also doing great with potty training and crate training and continues to make wonderful progress. With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and love for both adventure and snuggles, Doug is ready to find a family to call his own. Doug is truly one of those dogs who makes every day a little brighter. The family lucky enough to welcome him home will gain a loyal companion, a cuddle buddy, and a best friend all in one. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt ! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
