Hi, I'm Cierra! I'm a gorgeous calico lady (born approximately 5/16/2015), with the most adorable short stubby tail. It gives me a unique look that perfectly matches my sweet personality. While I may be a little shy when we first meet, I have a heart full of love just waiting for the right person to discover it. My world changed when my beloved owner passed away. I was deeply loved and cared for, and after her passing, her family did their best to look after me. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and I found myself searching for a new home. The good news is that I've lived successfully with both cats and dogs before, so I may do well again with other respectful pets after a proper introduction. I'm a gentle soul who prefers a calm environment where I can settle in at my own pace. When I first arrived at Wild Blue Cats, I spent a lot of time tucked safely in corners and cozy hiding spots while I figured things out. But little by little, my sweet personality began to shine. I love head rubs, neck scratches, chin rubs, gentle brushing, and kind people who understand that trust takes time. Once I feel comfortable, I reward my favorite humans with purrs, affection, and lots of sweetness. I adore being brushed, enjoy soft pets, and absolutely love treats, especially a Churu! If you come bearing snacks and gentle affection, we'll probably become friends very quickly. I've even been known to enjoy a little wand toy play when the mood strikes. I'm not a demanding cat, but I do appreciate being listened to. When I've had enough attention, I'll politely let you know and then go back to relaxing in my favorite cozy spot. I'm looking for a patient family that understands that some of the best relationships are worth taking a little extra time to build. My ideal home is calm, loving, and patient; one that will give me the time I need to settle in and remember what it feels like to belong. In return, you'll get a sweet, gentle companion who loves chin scratches and brushing sessions and quiet companionship.
