About

Meet Angie! At 8 months old and just over 40 pounds, Angie is all legs, all enthusiasm, and absolutely convinced that every person she meets came specifically to see her! If you're looking for a dog who respects personal space, Angie would like to apologize in advance. Wherever you are is exactly where Angie thinks she should be. Making coffee? Angie is supervising. Walking to the bathroom? Angie has decided that's a group activity. She adores people, loves children, and hands out kisses like they're going out of style. Her tail has two settings: wagging and wagging harder. Although she may look grown up, Angie still has a lot of puppy in her. She has plenty of playful energy, occasional questionable decision-making skills, and recently discovered that sticks are apparently the greatest invention in human history, especially when she can sneak them into the house. (Still better than shoes, so we're calling it progress.) The good news is she's a smart girl who genuinely enjoys learning. Angie is housebroken, crate trained leash trained. She sleeps in a crate beside her foster family's bed and will often put herself to bed at night. Her favorite part of the day is convincing another dog to play chase with her and would be happiest with a canine brother or sister to wrestle, play, and burn off energy with. A securely fenced yard is also a must. She's not an escape artist, but she can jump when properly inspired. Angie walks beautifully on leash and would make an excellent hiking buddy. While she's not a big barker, she does have a surprisingly impressive voice when she decides something is worth announcing, so apartment or shared-wall living is not a good fit. Because of her age and personality, she isn't looking for a home where she'll spend long days crated and alone. Angie is still a young dog who needs activity, guidance, and people who have time to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing adult dog she's already well on her way to becoming. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, an adventure partner, and a dog who thinks you're the most interesting thing in the world, Angie would love to meet you!
