MEET LARK — HAPPY AS A LARK Found weaving in and out of traffic on a busy highway, Lark was incredibly lucky that a kind finder spotted him and got him safely into her vehicle. He was even headed toward a church, so maybe someone really was looking out for him. When our officer arrived, it became clear that Lark was not a fan of leashes, but that never stopped him from showing how friendly and joyful he is. During intake, he was a perfect gentleman. He had no microchip or ID tag, and after appearing on our website for his stray hold, no one came to reclaim him. Now he is ready to move forward and find the forever family he deserves.Since being here, we've learned that Lark smiles, he is genuinely happy, and he absolutely loves other dogs. He recently met a spayed female his size and rushed to her like they were old friends. After a full sniff-over, he got so excited he broke into zoomies. This sweet, friendly, upbeat boy is going to make his future family an incredible companion. We recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children to ensure a great fit. Please bring a collar and leash, or you may purchase a combo from us for $15 to safely take your new family member home. Adoption Hours: • Mon–Fri: 12–5pm • Sat: 11am–2pm All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters must establish veterinary care after adoption.
