Tootsie joined my foster household of two kittens a couple of weeks ago. She was immediately friendly and snuggled with me, purring when I picked her up and held her. While the first couple of days she and my fosters traded hisses and growls, by the third they were playing and napping together. Summary of Personality: Tootsie is a high energy but sweet kitten. She dashes around checking everything out. While she plays on her own with string or balls, she loves best to chase, ambush and wrestle with a buddy. She'll go full steam and then head over to me for a quick rest break or to cuddle a bit before laying down for a catnap next to/near me (and the other two kittens). She purrs when I pet her, and she likes her tummy rubbed and being picked up and kissed. She's very fun! Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Tootsie initially was fostered in a home with three college students and a 1 year old kitten. During that time, she had other student visitors, and the older kitten,as playmates in her home. My foster home is fairly calm and quiet, with just me and my two resident adult cats. But I also had been fostering two kittens around the same age. Tootsie did not get to interact with my cats as they refused to come into the Kitten Room because it had kittens in there. Though she has not had experience with children or dogs, given Tootsie's personality, and a proper introduction, I think she would be fine with a dog playmate. I think older children would be best due to her high level of energy and rambunctious playing. Include any observations: Tootsie regularly uses the litter box (pellets). She is currently free-feeding with Hill's Science Diet Kitten Dry food, supplemented with Hill's Kitten wet food.
