We accepted this handsome fella early June 2026 when he was rejected by a local SD shelter for coming in with bloody nasal discharge and URI. We were contacted by his rescuers seeking assitance and we took him in. This handsome never did had a URI but did arrive with a bloody nose which had fixed itself by the next day. What was wrong? who knows! but that shelter loss because he is a SUCH a great boy! Handsome? check. Sweet and social? absolutely. Playful? yup Monkey came in with the name Batman which does fit him if he was black and white ha ha We can say he has been a gem from the first day being quarantine being a very clean kitty in his kennel we did find out he does better with high rise litter boxes vs the normal square plastic ones, if the sides are taller then his little #2 stay nice and covered INSIDE the box. He is a food hound and has the smallest most adorable chirpy meows. He has never been stressed or aggressive around all the foster dogs and cats here at casa de arwob. Just very chill around them. We think he will be great around cats, he does not exhibit any macho/territorial signs and he is good with dogs as long as they are not too much in his face and try to chase because he will get overwhelmed/scare and run, the foster pups love to approach and lick his face which he allows no problem. Monkey will be great in any household, he was rescued as a street cat and has been secured inside since he was 6mo old. He has been neutered, chiped, felv/fiv tested negative and UTD on medical..
