Meet Pumpkin, a 4-year-old mixed breed weighing 51 pounds. This sweet, happy girl has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers thanks to her friendly personality and lovable nature. Pumpkin is the kind of dog who simply wants to be where her people are. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, she's happiest when she's included. Because she loves spending time with her humans, she'll likely make a great partner for walks and other activities as she works toward a healthier weight. She appears to have had some basic training and already knows "sit." She's also very food motivated, which can make learning new things both fun and rewarding. With her cheerful attitude, affectionate personality, and eagerness to be part of the family, Pumpkin is ready to find a home that will love her as much as everyone at the shelter does. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
