She greets every day with enthusiasm. Her morning kisses are legendary, and she welcomes her favorite humans with wholehearted, unconditional love. She also has a refined palate—fresh fruits, vegetables, and eggs are among her favorite special treats. If you’re looking for a devoted sidekick for road trips, leisurely walks, and cozy evenings on the couch, Maddie is ready to be your constant companion. She truly shines during one-on-one adventures and loves spending quality time with her people. Maddie’s Ideal Home Maddie is happiest when she doesn’t have to share her home, toys, or attention with other animals. Because of her history and resource-guarding tendencies, she needs to be the only pet in the household. In the right environment, she is able to relax and enjoy being the center of her family’s world. To help Maddie thrive, her future home should offer: No Other Pets: Maddie needs to be the only dog in the home and does not enjoy sharing her space, toys, or attention. A Calm Environment: Barking dogs can be stressful for her and may cause her to react defensively. A home away from dog parks and high-traffic dog areas is ideal. A Quiet Lifestyle: Large crowds and busy gatherings can be overwhelming, so she prefers a peaceful, low-key environment. Maddie has an enormous capacity for love and loyalty. She is looking for a family that understands her needs, respects her boundaries, and appreciates the incredible companion she is. In return, she will give you unwavering devotion, endless affection, and enough love to fill an entire home. We do not have a kennel or facility to visit, all dogs are kept in foster homes until their forever homes are found. Adoption Process: Once an approved application is on file, we will then set up a home visit. At that time we will bring the dog to the home in which you will all be sharing.
