Hello, patient friends. My name is Tommy , and I am a very shy, gentle pup who is looking for a special kind of love. The big, wide world can feel a little intimidating to me right now, so I spend a lot of my time tucked away, snuggling in my bed where I feel safe and secure. Even though I am fearful, I am incredibly sweet and don't have a mean bone in my body. I deeply crave quiet, peaceful moments. While I am still figuring out how to trust the humans around me, the rescue volunteers are completely certain of one thing: underneath my shy exterior is a wonderful, devoted companion just waiting to emerge. I just need a little time, understanding, and a gentle hand to show me that I am safe. My Ideal Home Because I am working hard to build my bravery, my forever home needs a couple of very important things: A Canine Companion (Required): I absolutely must have another confident, friendly dog in my new home. I learn best by watching other dogs, and having a brave canine brother or sister will help show me the ropes and teach me that humans are actually pretty great! The Vibe: A quiet, low-traffic, and predictable household is essential for me. A home without young children or loud noises will give me the peace I need to slowly step out of my shell. The Perfect Humans: I am looking for a patient, understanding adopter who understands that trust takes time.
