If sunshine could wag its tail, it would probably look a lot like Dally. This gorgeous 7-month-old spayed Golden Retriever weighs 48 pounds and is everything people dream of when they think of a golden: sweet, social, goofy, loving, and always ready for the next adventure. With her contagious smile and heart of gold, Dally has never met a stranger—only future friends. Dally is wonderful with both big and small dogs and absolutely thrives with canine companions. She loves to run, wrestle, and play, making her an ideal fit for a home with other dogs to romp around with. In fact, if Dally could write her own wish list, it would probably include: dog friends, stuffed animals, belly rubs, and a yard to zoom around in. Speaking of stuffed animals—Dally has a very important job: carrying her beloved toys around like prized treasures. Whether she's proudly showing off her latest stuffed friend or rolling over dramatically for belly rubs, this darling girl knows how to melt hearts. Her hobbies include: Carrying stuffed animals everywhere she goes Making instant friends with every person and dog she meets Dreaming of hiking trails, rivers, and mountain adventures Rolling over for belly rubs like it's an Olympic sport Wrestling and playing chase with her dog buddies Dally knows the dog door, shares treats and toys beautifully with other dogs, and is currently working on her potty training like the smart girl she is. She's submissive, kid friendly, lovable, and the type of dog who brings joy wherever she goes. With her playful spirit and adventurous heart, Dally would love an active family—perhaps one with dreams of exploring Colorado's mountains, splashing in streams, or hiking scenic trails. After all, every great adventure is better with a Golden Retriever by your side. Any golden lover will tell you: dogs like Dally don't come around every day. She's the kind of dog who turns ordinary days into the best days. Now all this darling girl needs is a forever home where she can spend her days collecting stuffed animals, making friends, and being loved the way every puppy deserves. They were rescued from a shelter in New Mexico. Meet and greets are by appointment only. An approved application is required to schedule a meeting. This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.
