Meet Snowball! Snowball is a handsome 4-month-old rooster who recently discovered two very important things: his singing voice and his true identity. Originally purchased from Tractor Supply under the assumption that he was a hen, Snowball spent the first few months of his life blending in with the ladies. However, as he matured and began greeting the sunrise with increasing enthusiasm, it became clear that Snowball was not destined to be part of the girls' club. He is, in fact, a proud young rooster. Unfortunately, roosters are not permitted within the city limits of Rockwall, leaving his owners with the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can freely embrace his calling as the neighborhood alarm clock. Hoping to help him find the perfect flock, they entrusted Snowball to our care. Snowball is now searching for a home where his vocal talents will be appreciated rather than cited by city ordinance. Whether you're looking to add some personality to your flock, need a handsome young gentleman to watch over your hens, or simply appreciate a rooster who isn't afraid to announce himself to the world, Snowball may be the perfect fit. Snowball is currently available for adoption with an adoption fee of $25. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
