Meet Blizzard Lizard! This handsome sweetie is on the shyer side of life, so he's looking for an adopter who's ready to help him adjust to his new home at his own pace. He loves to hunker down in hiding spaces like his crate or bed, or up on a high shelf, but once he's feeling safe and secure, he won't say no to some head scratches or a few treats! Blizzard Lizard really comes out of his shell when he has a braver, more confident cat companion to spend time with, so he would love to go to a home with another cat. Blizzard Lizard has been diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), which is a lifelong viral condition that is not contagious to humans or other species. Some cats with FIV may demonstrate a weakened immune system over time, so adopters should be ready to check in with their vet periodically to ensure that this guy is feeling his best!
