The moment you walk into the room, she'll often hurry over and settle into the perfect petting position, ready to receive the attention she knows is coming. In return, she'll reward you with a soft, contented purr and a pair of soulful golden eyes that seem to say, "There you are. I've been waiting." This beautiful young cat is sleek and elegant, dressed in a glossy black tabby coat accented by a distinctive patch of white on her chest that looks remarkably like a delicate lace collar. With her striking appearance and confident personality, Patty tends to make an impression wherever she goes. Patty is wonderfully affectionate and genuinely enjoys being part of whatever her people are doing. She loves being held, carried around, stroked, and fussed over. Whether it's playtime, naptime, or simply hanging out on the couch, Patty's philosophy is simple: if her human is involved, she's interested. When it comes to play, Patty brings enthusiasm to everything she does. She's an accomplished stuffed mouse hunter, a lightning-fast ball chaser, and a talented wand toy acrobat, at least until she decides the wand toy has become repetitive and it's time for a new challenge. One of her favorite activities is absolutely demolishing kicker toys, especially if a human is willing to wiggle them first. Even during her most energetic play sessions, she'll often pause to check in with her person before diving right back into the action. True to her confident nature, Patty is comfortable in new environments and approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. She's outgoing, social, and not easily rattled. She travels well, settles into carriers without much fuss, and isn't the type to hide from visitors. In fact, strangers may quickly find themselves welcomed into Patty's fan club. Patty enjoys having options when it comes to relaxing. You might find her stretched across the middle of the bed, supervising the neighborhood from a sunny windowsill, or perched atop a cat tree where she can keep an eye on everything happening below. Wherever she chooses to settle, she'd be happiest with her favorite human nearby. While she's generally a quiet cat, Patty isn't afraid to speak up when she has something important to say. If dinner preparation seems to be moving too slowly or if she feels petting duties have been neglected, she'll offer a polite reminder. Most of the time, though, she prefers to communicate through purrs, affectionate glances, and simply being close. Patty has excellent litter box habits, uses scratching posts appropriately, and allows nail trims without complaint.
