MEET EVIE: A SINGLE MOM WHO IS DONE BEING SINGLE Evie raised four kittens basically on her own, found homes for three of them, and is now ready for someone to take care of HER for once. She is one year old, orange-and-white, and operates at exactly two settings: “pet me” and “pet me more.” There is no off switch. There is no personal space. If you sit down, you will have a cat on you within 90 seconds — that’s not a threat, it’s a promise. Evie has officially entered her soft-girl era. Motherhood is behind her, the kittens are grown(ish), and she would like to spend the rest of her days being adored, brushed, and talked to like she understands every word (she does, she’s just choosing not to respond). She’s bringing her daughter along for the ride, because they’re a package deal who’d love to stay together — though Evie is confident enough in her own main-character energy that she’d also thrive solo, getting 100% of your attention instead of 50%. She might even do well with another cat in the home, given a slow, proper introduction and the chance to assess whether they’re worthy of her couch. What Evie is looking for in a forever home: A lap (non-negotiable) Unlimited chin scratches Someone who understands that “meow” means “now” Zero judgment about her clingy era She gave everything to her kittens. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s whole world. Apply to adopt Evie (and optionally her daughter) today — before she finds someone else to fall in love with first. Adoption fee $200, includes: first 2 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, flea preventatives, sterilized, microchip If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have. Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters.
