About

Meet Biscuit – Soft Eyes, Gentle Soul, Ready for Home Biscuit is currently with our sister rescue in Louisiana but it is ready to hop in her for her next ride to NJ if a foster or adopter is found. Some dogs spend their whole lives trying to find their way home. Biscuit's story started with uncertainty when she was found wandering alongside another friendly female dog near a local restaurant. But Biscuit didn't act scared or shut down, she did something unforgettable. She hopped right into a foster's truck like she already knew she was finally safe. Despite efforts to find her family, no one ever came for her. What we do know is that Biscuit had clearly known life as an indoor dog before. She's already spayed, microchipped, and has wonderful house manners. Now she's looking for something even better than her old life: a family that chooses her forever. Biscuit is approximately 5 years old and fully grown at an easygoing 34 pounds, she's the perfect size for sharing the couch, riding along on errands, or curling up beside you after a long day. This Boxer mix has an incredibly sweet personality. She's affectionate, gentle, and happiest just being near her people. She enjoys toys, rides well in the car, and has the kind of calm energy that makes her easy to love. She's house trained, crate trained, and friendly with both people and other dogs. Biscuit isn't asking for much. She doesn't need endless adventures or constant excitement. She wants comfort. She wants kindness. She wants someone who notices the way she leans in for affection and decides she never has to wonder where she belongs again. After being overlooked once, Biscuit deserves a family that won't let her go. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a gentle heart and an old-soul kind of love, Biscuit may already be waiting by the door for you. Biscuit is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Biscuit has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $500. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
