About

Meet Nyah – A Little Survivor with a Big Heart She is currently located with our sister rescue in Louisiana but can travel to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. If resilience had a face, it might look a lot like Nyah. This sweet young Jack Russell mix has already overcome more than any puppy should ever have to. Found as a stray, Nyah arrived needing help after battling demodex and recovering from a serious burn injury along her back. But despite everything she's been through, Nyah has held onto the most important thing of all - her joyful spirit. Today, Nyah is healthy, fully vetted, her demodex has cleared, and she's ready for the life every puppy deserves. Nyah is exactly what you'd hope for in a young dog: affectionate, playful, goofy, and always ready to have fun. She loves toys, enjoys being around people, and gets along well with other dogs. She approaches the world with curiosity and friendliness, proving every day that difficult beginnings don't define who she is. Like any puppy, Nyah is still learning the basics and is working on house training. She'll thrive with a family ready to guide her through puppyhood with patience, consistency, and lots of encouragement. At around 25 pounds now with some growing left to do, Nyah is shaping up to be the perfect size for adventures, couch cuddles, and everything in between. What Nyah needs most now isn't sympathy. It's a family. A family who sees her not for what happened to her, but for who she is: a happy, loving puppy who deserves safety, kindness, and a place to finally call home. Her story started with hardship. Help make sure the rest of it is filled with love. Nyah is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Nyah has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $600. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
