MEET NENE! *Small but mighty Nene doesn't seem to realize that he only weighs 10 lbs! He'll bark at other dogs, no matter their size, as well as the wild turkeys who live on the shelter property. We've been working with him on obedience training, including walking politely past other dogs. He's a smart little guy and it will be important for his new family to continue with his training. Nene would be happiest in a quiet environment outside the city. He's lived with kids and would be good in a home with dog-savvy children. Did we mention that he's insanely cute? Come to Dedham to meet NeNe! My friends describe me as: Adventerous, vocal and snuggly Nene is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team. He will need regular grooming to keep his long coat clean and tangle-free For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements.
