Meet Dove! This adorable fella is always in the middle of the action and never wants to miss out on the fun. Curious and adventurous, Dove loves chasing toys and investigating anything new. He is outgoing, affectionate, and quick to make friends with both people and other cats. Whether he's racing around with his siblings or curling up for a well-earned nap, Dove brings plenty of joy and personality wherever he goes. Like most young kittens, Dove would be happiest in a home with feline companionship, so his ideal home will already have another friendly cat or be interested in adopting him with one of his siblings. Dove has not yet met dogs but should adjust well to respectful canine friends. He is being fostered in Akron, Ohio, and was born around March 1, 2026. Dove's adoption fee of $100 includes a negative test for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), neuter surgery, age-appropriate Rabies, FeLV and FVRCP vaccinations, deworming, topical flea prevention, and a microchip. If adopted with one of his siblings, the adoption fee for the pair is $150. His littermates are Merlin, Robin, Lark, Wren, and Phoebe. Please note: Dove's mother tested positive for FeLV and negative for FIV. Dove tested negative for both viruses at 3 months of age after being separated from his mother. Current veterinary recommendations are that he and his littermates be retested at 5–6 months of age to confirm their negative status. If adopted before that time, Rose's Rescue will schedule and cover the cost of the follow-up testing.
