Meet Moose! Moose is a handsome young Doberman estimated to be around 1½ years old. According to his veterinarian, his teeth were simply too perfect for him to be much older! This lovable boy is the perfect mix of affectionate companion and energetic adventure buddy. Moose is incredibly food motivated and loves anything edible. Collagen chews, marrow bones, stuffed Kongs, and tasty training treats are all favorites. His eagerness for food makes him a fun dog to train and keeps him engaged when learning new things. Inside the home, Moose is surprisingly calm and sweet. He enjoys lounging with his people, soaking up attention, and is even known for his early bedtime—don't be surprised if he's ready to call it a night by 9 PM! He forms strong bonds with his people and would happily follow his favorite person from room to room all day long. Outside is where Moose's adventurous side shines. He's an athletic, energetic Doberman who loves to run, play, and explore. He would thrive in an active home with a securely fenced yard where he can stretch his legs and burn off energy. Squirrels, rabbits, and anything else that scurries across the yard are endlessly entertaining to him, so a home committed to managing his prey drive is important. Moose is a social butterfly who loves people and enjoys meeting new friends. He regularly attends doggy daycare and has done well making canine companions there. He also enjoys dog parks, where he can run circles around most of the other dogs and show off his impressive athleticism. Like many young dogs, he sometimes needs reminders that not every dog wants to play, but he responds well to guidance and continues to learn appropriate social skills. Moose will need a family committed to continuing his training. He is still working on leash manners and can become distracted by wildlife during walks. He is also not crate trained and would do best with a family that can help him continue building confidence and independence when left alone. Like many clever Dobermans, he'll happily investigate unattended snacks if given the opportunity! The ideal home for Moose will be active, patient, and ready to invest in a smart young dog with tremendous potential. A fenced yard, plenty of exercise, ongoing training, and lots of companionship will help him thrive. In return, Moose will give his family endless loyalty, affection, and plenty of laughs. If you're looking for a loving shadow who wants to be part of every adventure, Moose might just be your perfect match.
