Please contact Heidi ( heidi@eskierescuers.org ) for more information about this pet. Meet Whiskey. This handsome eskie boy just arrived with his dad Tucker and sibling Wyatt from GA (6/20/2026). They were surrendered due to their owners' health and life circumstances. Whiskey will be vetted on the 29th (neuter, vaccines, SNAP4DX, etc.) and will then be available for adoption. See the attached video below - caution - extreme cuteness! Here is what his owner says about Whiskey: "Whiskey is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. He enjoys being with people, playing with toys, and spending time with doggy friends. He is an energetic, happy boy who loves life and is always ready for fun. Whisky has had daily interaction and socialization in a loving home. He is intelligent, curious, and eager to learn. As a young eskie, he will thrive with structure, consistency, and positive guidance. Whiskey has lived with multiple dogs and is well-socialized. He is used to the sights, sounds, and activities in a busy home. He would do best with a family that understands the breed and can provide the attention, activity, and companionship he needs to grow into a wonderful adult dog. Whiskey is a sweet-natured dog. He is not a biter and has never shown aggression to adults or children. Whiskey has a gentle, loving personality and enjoys attention and affection. He has been around adults and children and has always been kind and gentle. Whiskey's nature is happy, trusting, and very loving." Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs. Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
