Meet Lincoln Lincoln wasn't supposed to be here this long. He originally came to the shelter as a temporary housing case, with the hope that he would soon be reunited with the life he knew. Unfortunately, circumstances changed, and now Lincoln finds himself searching for a new beginning. While we don't know much about his past, what we do know is that Lincoln has a heart full of love and is ready to share it with someone special. He greets new people with enthusiasm, enjoys making friends, and is always happy to soak up attention from anyone willing to give it.Lincoln appears to be housebroken and is looking for a family that can help him continue learning the basics. He would benefit from structure, consistency, and a confident handler who can guide him as he settles into his new home. Like many dogs experiencing big life changes, he's still learning what his future looks like.At this time, his compatibility with cats, dogs, and children is unknown. What isn't unknown is his desire to connect with people and be part of a family again.Lincoln didn't ask for his world to change, but he's doing his best to face each day with a wagging tail and an open heart. Now all he needs is someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves.Could that someone be you?
