At approximately 12 years young, this beautiful lady is looking for a second chance at love after losing the only home she has ever known. Sadly, her beloved owner recently passed away, leaving her searching for a new family to cherish her through her golden years. Weighing in at a cuddly 16 pounds, she’s a sweet, affectionate companion who loves being near her people. She enjoys conversations and isn’t shy about letting you know when she wants attention, making her the perfect friend for someone who appreciates a chatty feline companion. She loves to open cupboard doors and get inside lower bathroom or kitchen cabinets to take a nap. Because she has experienced such a significant loss and change, she would thrive in a quiet, calm home with a senior person or adults who can provide the patience, understanding, and stability she needs to feel safe again. She will need time to adjust to her new surroundings, but with love and patience, she will reward her new family with endless companionship and affection. We do not adopt to anyone living out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area. All our dogs/cats will be spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (dogs), FeLV/FIV tested (cats), microchipped; and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on our personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in our homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
