Meet Daisy! Daisy is an adorable 1½-year-old Jack Russell Terrier/Dachshund mix weighing approximately 12 pounds. She came to Russell Rescue when her owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her while caring for an ailing family member—a selfless act made out of love to ensure Daisy could receive the time and attention she deserves. This sweet girl has lived in an apartment, rides well in the car, is cat friendly, and appears to be house trained. Daisy is affectionate, friendly, and enjoys being around her people. One thing Daisy is still learning is that leashes can be fun! She isn't quite sure about collars, harnesses, or walking on a leash yet, but with a little patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, she's sure to gain confidence. Every dog learns at their own pace, and Daisy is ready for someone to help her discover that the world isn't so scary. If you're looking for a loving companion with a gentle heart and are willing to help her build confidence, Daisy may be the perfect addition to your family. Our adoption fee is $300, which includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm testing, microchip, and other routine veterinary care.
