Meet Black Beauty! Black Beauty is a breathtaking 1-year-old long-haired black cat with a silky, luxurious coat that practically melts under your hand. Everything about her is elegance and softness… except her absolute dedication to the art of lounging. Naps? Perfected. Sunbeams? Reserved. Cozy spots? Already claimed. This sweet girl came to us after an injury that left her with a displaced hip. She underwent an FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery, which allowed her to keep her leg and move comfortably without pain. While she is still a bit weaker on that side, mostly because she prefers relaxation over rigorous physical therapy, it doesn’t slow her down in the ways that matter to her. In true queen fashion, she still manages to climb her way to the highest cat tower to keep watch over her kingdom like a fluffy little guardian. Black Beauty is gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully easygoing. She gets along well with cats, dogs, and kids, and she’s litter box trained. She’s the kind of companion who brings calm energy into a home and quietly makes every space feel warmer just by being in it. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, is FIV/FeLV negative, and is on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $175 . While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high .
