About

Meet Cove — equal parts soft, silly and ready to see what’s around the next corner! Cove came to the ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center feeling unsure about the world but wasted no time showing everyone how ready she was to learn. She moved quickly through the program and now brings a mix of curiosity and “let’s go!” energy to just about everything she does. Cove is happiest when she’s out and about. Long walks, new places, fresh air — she’s all in. She has that classic Husky spirit without being over the top about it, making her a fun companion for someone who likes to stay active but doesn’t need a constant whirlwind. When meeting new people, Cove likes a moment to take things in, but don’t be surprised if she circles back quickly to say hi (especially if snacks are involved). She tends to warm up on her own terms, and once she does, you’ll see her playful, friendly side shine through. She enjoys spending time with other dogs and shines with thoughtful introductions. Cove is great at reading the room, she can jump into play when it feels right or step away when she’s had enough. Dogs who are a little more middle-of-the-road in their play style are her favorite type of friends. Cove is one of those dogs who’s hard to forget; soft in every sense of the word, with a growing confidence and a quiet sense of humor. She doesn’t need to be pushed, she just needs someone who enjoys watching a dog figure things out and support her as her confidence grows. If you’re looking for an outdoorsy sidekick with a thoughtful streak and a playful edge, Cove might be your girl.
