Meet Dodo, a Sweet 6-Year-Old Soul Looking for Her Forever Home and rare female orange tabby. Dodo is a gentle, easygoing girl with the kindest heart. She was owned by a family that could no longer keep her and was about to be surrendered to a kill shelter. We took her into foster to ensure nothing bad would happen to her. At first, this beautiful 6-year-old may seem a little shy she likes to take her time observing her new world and getting comfortable. It's hard to lose your family and not know what is going on. But once she feels safe and secure, her true affectionate personality blossoms in the most heartwarming way. She will greet you at the door when you come home, happily seeking out your company and soaking up every bit of love you give her. Dodo loves attention and enjoys being held and cuddled close. During the day shes wonderfully relaxed, often perched in her favorite high spots where she can quietly watch over her people. In the evenings she shows off her playful side with delightful bursts of energy and the occasional case of the zoomies that will make you smile. Dodo gets along beautifully with other cats and cat friendly dogs and would thrive in a patient, understanding home where her family gives her the gentle time she needs to fully open up. In return, she offers loyal, loving companionship and becomes a true member of the family the kind of cat who makes every day a little softer and sweeter just by being there. Dodo is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. Shes ready to leave the shelter behind and start the next chapter of her life with people who will cherish her gentle spirit.
