Meet Lars – Ready for His Fresh Start Like his former housemate Zena, Lars is ready for a fresh start and is looking for his forever family to help him begin that new chapter. This 1 year 6 month old finds himself here after his previous owner was no longer able to provide the care he needed. While he has been in our care, he got to meet a new canine friend. His friend was jumping and barking, hoping to entice Lars to play — but this nervous little guy was a little scared at first. Soon after, though, the tail wags began. With just a little time to warm up, this cute boy will be a wonderful, playful companion. And did we mention how sweet he is? He is incredibly sweet. If you have room in your heart and home for a loving and loyal companion, come meet Lars in person to see if it's the perfect match. Meet-and-greets with other dogs and children are recommended to ensure a good fit. We do not have information on how he does with cats and have no way to test for this. We are first come, first served, and in-person adoptions only. 430 Bristol Drive, Statesville Adoption Hours: • Mon–Fri: 12–5 PM • Sat: 11 AM–2 PM Adoption Fee: 80 All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. Adopters should establish veterinary care after adoption to maintain their pet's health. Please bring a collar and leash, or purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely transport your new pet home.
