About

Meet Ariel, a 4‑month‑old Golden Retriever and Australian Shepherd mix who made her way from Georgia with a heart full of sweetness and a spirit ready for adventure. She’s the smallest of her litter and the only pup with striking black fur — and to make her even more unforgettable, she has two beautiful, different‑colored eyes that give her a magical, one‑of‑a‑kind look. Despite her tiny size, Ariel radiates main‑character energy. She loves to run, play, and explore, and she brings a joyful spark to every moment. While she can be a little nervous around big dogs at first, she warms up quickly and soon joins the chase like she’s one of them. Ariel is currently working on housetraining and basic obedience, and she’s already showing how smart and eager‑to‑learn she is. Thanks to her young age and gentle temperament, she does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. Ariel is ready to grow, learn, and become the beloved companion she’s meant to be. Ariel's adoption fee is $300, which helps support their medical care and preparation for adoption. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1 Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet! We welcome adopters from out of state to apply! _ When it comes to our pets, we're all-inclusive!
