Once upon a time, there was a breeder in Alabama. He passed away and his elderly wife is no longer able to care for the seven dogs left behind. We committed to four of them. Welcome to the rescue, Portia. Portia is about 4 yrs old, and is an easy going girl. She arrives just after the July 4 holiday Portia is a sweet, affectionate girl with a loving and people-oriented personality. She approached willingly, sought out attention, and happily leaned in for affection. She showered handlers with kisses and remained cooperative throughout her veterinary visit, standing calmly for all procedures. Portia’s friendly disposition and easygoing nature make her an absolute delight to be around.
